| LEGACY of EXCELLENCE This award has been established to recognize cats who have excelled in the production of ACFA Grand Champion offspring. These cats will be awarded the title LE. To qualify a dam must produce 5 ACFA Grand Champions and a sire must produce 10 ACFA GrandChampions. When the claim is confirmed you will receive a certificate, possibly with the cat's photo on it, and the cat will be included on the list of LEs in that year's POR. There is no time limit for claiming the LE title. You can claim it for deceased cats if you want to. For more details and forms, go to the Legacy of Excellence page. |
| LEGACY of ACHEIVEMENT Your Kitten, Cat or Alter that has excelled in the show ring during several seasons of their show career can be recognize with a Legacy of Achievement title . These special cats will be awarded the title LA on a certificate, suitable for framing, and will be recognized in the Parade of Royalty, the Bulletin, and in the Annual Awards Program. Eligible cats must have received either an Inter-American Top 50 or a Regional Top 10 award for three years. These do not need to be consecutive years. | INTER-AMERICAN AWARDS Each year, following the completing of the show season (May 1 through April 30) the scores of each Kitten, Cat, Alter and Household Pet are calculated. The best scoring cat in each class is awarded the prestigious distinction of Best Cat/Kitten/Alter/Household Pet of the Year. This is the basis of our annual awards banquet, held each year in August. These awards come close to the ultimate achievement in showing your cats and kittens. The top scoring cat/kitten/alter/household pet are honored with their Photos on the front page of our web site. | CATTERY (CAT HAVEN) of DISTINCTION ACFA has approved establishing a facility inspection program. This program is open to all ACFA registered Catteries and Cat Havens. Having passed this inspection program, the owner will be awarded the title of ACFA Cattery (Cat Haven) of Distinction. For more details and forms, go to the Cattery (Cat Haven) of Distinction page. |
| GRAND / SUPREME ROSETTE's Once your cat has achieved the level of Grand Champion, Quad Grand Champion/Supreme Roll of Honor, Supreme HHP, Supreme Roll of Honor HHP, Legacy of Excellence, & Legacy of Achievement, rosettes may be ordered for each cat. These rosettes may be displayed on your show cages at all ACFA shows. The rosette will have the cats name printed as it is recorded on the confirmation form. All proceeds from the sale of these rosettes will go to ACFA. To claim a Grand / Supreme Rosette, visit our Rosette page.
